Peptides & Weight Loss

Peptides & Weight Loss

Change is difficult, especially when it comes to our own personal habits.

In my life before PA school, I was a comprehensively trained Classical Pilates instructor for 8 years. I also taught group fitness classes such as Barre, Indoor Cycling and TRX. I always used to tell my clients, "the hardest part is showing up - but you'll never regret a workout." I also used to say, "if you don't squeeze it, no one else will," but I digress.

I know that losing weight is about so much more than a number or fitting into your skinny jeans - and I know it's really, really hard.

I like to think of weight loss as opening a door at the *almost* top of a hill; the first part, getting to the top, is the hardest, because it requires substantial habit change, and consistent commitment to that change. However, before you know it, you've coasted over the top of the hill, and things start getting easier. The further you go down the hill, the lower your risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, Alzheimer's, osteoarthritis, injuries, and a plethora of other health problems that are highly correlated with being at an unhealthy weight.

I am happy to finally be able to help my patients improve their own personal health in a comprehensive, compassionate and effective way, by opening that door for my patients. You just have to walk through it.
